Okay, so where did we meet?
Okay, so where did we meet?
The two of us collided in the not so small town of Kansas City. Our first interaction was at a summer festival where we both attended the same MeetUp. Did we talk at all? Of course not!
No - we didn't talk until the next weekend at yet another MeetUp event; this time a Chipotle festival.
Right, but when was the spark?
Right, but when was the spark?
Well, the two of us played kickball together, so we constantly bantered back and forth about each other. Ada is insufferably competitive. Tom is just plain bad. Together, we had fun.
The two of us had our kickball fun, but the real spark happened at another event called Water Fire. We bounced song lyrics back and forth at each other all night for a reason neither of us can remember, and we saw the most ridiculous inflated mermaid. We may not remember why we were talking in lyrics, but oh do we remember that terrifying mermaid.

We started dating on November 20th, 2016. Who asked the other? Tom asked Ada, but if prompted, Ada will say and Tom will agree that things were officially official two days after at a movie theater. Tom was unbelievably nervous thinking to himself that Ada may have second thoughts. This nervousness was crushed when Ada took Tom's arm and put it around her.
Through moving states, loads of adventures, and adopting two cats, we've been together now for four wonderful years. On November 27th, 2019 we got engaged in Elk, Poland - Ada's hometown.

At the start of 2020, we bought our first house in Greenville, SC. We chose it for the beautiful backyard, so we thought it would be the perfect place to say "I do".

Greenville has hotels of all shapes and sizes. We're only a five minute Uber from the majority, so pick what sounds good to you!
You want the best of the best? Stay near Falls Park. Did we mention there's a waterfall? It's absolutely gorgeous, and one of the reasons we chose Greenville for our home.

Wedding: 2pm. Linner: 3:30pm
The wedding will start at 2:00pm. Following that will be a cocktail hour and then linner. We've found a fantastic food truck that will be serving us a prearranged menu, so bring your appetite!
